Hey Julienne,

I think you got the wrong end of the stick. We cannot combine the braai with the Scalabrini centre as the program we run at our studio is in direct opposition with their ideology. We do not do our braais for profit, in fact we don't do anything for profit and we usually do this without funding. The idea of a braai is to create a discursive environment and to get drunk at the same time. It's not meant to be an open party. Especially not for the Scalabrini Centre.

We will approach this event as we do with all others.

There is also the idea of passing something to someone. Daney explained the term in an interview when asked how he would define himself: “I like this small word: passeur.
